Gents here is a pic of my tire after 5563 miles. It's pretty obvious the sides haven't had there share of wear but I have been very pleased so far. I have to finish the PR4 I have 1659 miles on that I removed for the tour. If I can get 4-5000 miles around here I will be switching permanently to the Z8

Lee ran those too I think. After the basketball game he could reply.

I ran my post Rapid City Z8's on one of our typical dayrides with Jeff the other day and the Z8 front didn't inspire confidence like the soft rubber sport fronts I usually run. I'm going to try a softer front with the Z8 rear and see how that performs. I don't mind the rear moving a little but the front has to be firmly planted or I get nervous. It'd be nice to get more than 2k out of a rear.

I have not run them, myself, but a trusted friend has the same complaints as Lee - they just don't stick with sporting applications. I am afraid we will all sacrifice wear for stick. A lighter, slower bike is in my future so the sticky rubber lasts a little longer.
