ATTN SENA USERS

Gents, I know most of have experienced, as Bob would call it, "R2D2" garbled transmissions on Motorola, when you can hear others transmitting but they cannot hear yours. This past ride when it happened I tried tapping he PTT button on handlebars 3 times to disconnect the link between the radio and Bluetooth like when you want to not be interrupted on phone. After 3 minutes it automatically reconnects. When I did it I then had good communication. It's a lot easier than having to reboot the SR10.

Also safer than trying to manually reconfigure/etc while riding! Shame Sena hasn't manned up and fixed that! <dope>

Have you checked their forums to see if others are struggling with the issue? ...Sena has been pretty responsive when users grumble about firmware issues.

I didn't check their forums but did open a service ticket. They ended up replacing my SR10. The other thing they always say is hit the hard reset button and perform a re- pairing. Which is not the problem.

I think when you all told me I sounded like R2D2 I changed radios and it worked fine. I've never had to reboot the SR10.

Brick that's not the issue you had. I know I have heard Don lose comm out of the blue and I have also. As soon as Don Rebooted it was fine.

It was that other time, when we all said you sounded like Liza Minelli.
