Killboy

Looks like the Dragon now has moto rentals. The quadcopter should give a new view of the shenanigans on the gap...if killboy ever gets the hang of it. <muaha>

Bob,
Yea, that looks good. Have you found this road yet on a map?

Yeah, its listed as SanteeTlah Rd. NC1127 in Mapsource, runs off of NC143 which is the eastern approach rd. to the Cherohala. Not far from Robbinsville. Looks like it might be fun. <grin> <squid>

(fixed it, Ed)

Santeelah Rd.

I see it on Google as 'Santeetlah Rd.', with an extra 't' in it. Don't remember it specifically but know I've been on Joyce Kilmer, and of course Tapoco Road (a fave) in the past.

230+ miles from here, one way... a bit more than a typical day ride for us ;)

You're right, Santeetlah it is--been spelling and pronouncing it wrong forever, lol. Guess that t & l kinda blends together in the fine print. <dope>

Will try to remember to delve into that a bit, next time I'm out that-a-way.
