Salute to Bob!

Unread postby Broz » Wed Jan 01, 2014 1:11 pm

This really isn't a "brain phartz" but no where else to acknowledge all Bob has done for us and COFSTA.

I joined 1 year ago w a brand spanking new bike zero miles. I have over 13,000 and probably 9-10k of that has been with the group, a bunch of good guys.

Even when I wasn't able to get out durring the week and ride with the group Bob would share the route so I could enjoy it by myself on the weekend. So far I have accumulated about 30 great routes. In addition to Bob, Brick has provided some good leadership and spontaneous routing that I was able to capture with the Checkmytour app. We would be out in the middle of God Knows where and I would be able to recreate the route thanks to that app. My non COFSTA riding friends thought I was a routing genius when I would lead them over a weekend ride, even my friend that lives in Blowing Rock.

Thanks Bob. Keep up the good work.
