Continental Road Attack 3… 2022

Unread postby Brick » Mon Oct 17, 2022 9:42 am

So I finally decided to try a set of road tires on my 2020 BMW R1250GS. I ordered a set of Continental Road Attack 3’s. I’ve really enjoyed them! The good and bad… this is a picture of the front after, get this 6,333 miles!!!

Not a lot of life left but 6,333 miles!
The bad… I got a piece of metal in the rear and so I replaced it. The second rear with perhaps 2,000 miles got a sheet rock screw in it this past Friday on the way to Suches, GA. So I will be ordering a new rear but after Scott plugged it with one of the red rope plugs it had held for two day and 460 or so miles and one hell of a lot of miles!!

Conclusion: I’m impressed with these tires. I have never gotten that many miles from any tire on this bike! Oh and I love the way these tires handle and hold in the curves!! [FISTED HAND SIGN]

The second rear Continental Road Attack 3. Image

It was in there just like it was screwed in. So am I screwing the sheet rock screw out or in?

I like the handling and stickiness of the Conti Road Attack 3 also. I also like how the fronts stay rounded instead of the V shape that causes the bike to fall into the corners.
