Hello! I live in Bakersville and I love riding the roads here. I sold my motorcycle when I was 19 because I lost my license, because I had a motorcycle and I was 19. Make sense?
I spent 40 years admiring them from a distance and finally decided that when the kids were out of the house I would get one. I have now been riding for four years. I started with a V-Strom, then got a K1600GTL to ride two up. My wife decided to ride her own machine so I traded the K for my current bike, a 2105 R1200GSA.
I ride with Brick and the Knobbies regularly and I am looking forward to meeting you all and riding.

Welcome Jeff. I hope to be riding up your way this Saturday. I used to have a place near Burnsville and we're looking in Yancey/Mitchell again.

70 degrees in Dec is a rare treat!

Welcome! we need more high country road reports <bana>
