My name is Kevin and I'm a bike-a-holic! I moved to Statesville a couple of months ago from Greensboro with a job change. I know Brick from our days in the HSTA and look forward to meeting everyone. I currently own a 1994 Yamaha GTS1000 with 105,000 miles and a 2015 Yamaha FJ-09 with about 28,000 miles. Having previously owned Ducati, BMW, Kawasaki, Triumph and Honda, I've been riding for over 30 years with a group called The Chicken Runnners. http://www.thechickenrun.comI'm currently on the lookout for a lightly used BMW K1600 GT.

Hey Kevin, welcome to the group! That sure is a pretty Yammy GT--I'd like to see it up close, that is a rare bike, for me anyway. You had asked about the meeting spot, the "Gate", that is the Gate gas station located at 823 N. Green St. in Morganton--it has become the defacto meetup spot for that area. I hope to see you there Sunday morning!!

The Chicken Run is held 3 times a year, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day weekend. We meet on the Saturday-Monday of those weekends at the Old Clark Inn in Marltinton, WV. Simply call the Old Clark Inn and make your reservations. Let 'em know you're with the Chicken Run group!
